Reposting My Purpose

So as you may have noticed if you are a regular reader of my blog, I enjoy writing. I enjoy sharing the stories from my journeys across the country and enjoy keeping in contact with my friends around the world as I travel. I’m almost always on the road and it’s not uncommon for my friends to ask me what part of the world I am in.

This blog is going to become all the more important to me as I enter the next phase of my journey in the 25th year of my life. I am going into growth mode. I am securing my passions and finding my purpose.

Here are the discoveries I’ve made:

1. I want to be Lisa Ling. Or Christiane Amanpour. I want to travel and discover and share my knowledge with the world using the power of the media. My degree in Applied Theater and Film Studies is finally going to be put to use! My years of working for a Media Advocacy organization have trained me.

One of the ways I can make this happen is by getting this amazing job:

2. The other thing I really want to do is encourage my peers to tell amazing stories using film. One of the people I believe in most who is already doing this work is the wonderful Maital Guttman. She and I have formed a wonderfully fun and productive partnership and are currently securing funding to make her incredible vision into an important film. Here’s a little teaser:
