So, as you may have noticed, I have DRASTICALLY changed the look of my blog. I have been hard at work over the New Years’ holiday making sure that I can really do this. And I am really excited with the results so far.
I’m also diving in to my Life To-Do List! I am soon going to choose my first novel from the list of 50 contemporary must-reads. I was amused when I came across the list because I assumed that the book “Middlesex” would be on the list. My very best friend Patty happens to HATE Middlesex. And so does her roommate. I know they have a copy of the book, so I am going to borrow it and see if I hate it too. Will get back to you on that.
My favorite part so far of this process has been having friends from all over send me words of encouragement and offering to help me finish the list! I can’t wait to share these experiences, where relevant.
I am also really proud of the work I have been doing with eHow community. It’s been fun to think of creating “how to’s” that I can write. If you guys think of anything that you’d like me to write instructions on, let me know!

I hated the book Middlesex too! I have a copy that I will gladly give you since I don’t plan on looking at it again. Although, don’t let my opinion discourage you — I know plenty of people smarter than me that have loved it.
