This was one of the more fun (and accidentally completed) items on the Life To Do list. #25 was start a tradition.
Thursday nights are important to me. For many years now (more accurately five seasons), Grey’s Anatomy has been a part of my life. The twisted stories of McSteamy and McDreamy (and McDog)… I am invested. Invested in their relations and their life journeys and the way that they learn about themselves through the lives of the patients whose lives they attempt to save every day. Call it tacky… but it’s just my show.
This past week, I decided that the jeans that I was wearing were uncomfortable. I didn’t want to be wearing them as I curled up on the couch with my buds and drank wine. There wasn’t room to curl. There wasn’t freedom to curl. I decided that since we were watching a show about Doctors who wear scrubs, that I should be wearing scrubs.
My BFF Patty has parents who work in the medical field. And alas… a tradition was born. The three of us changed into scrubs and did a mini photo shoot that was in line with this particular week’s episodes. It involved tequila bottles and really high ponytails.
So the tradition of watching medical shows while wearing scrubs was born. I don’t know if the photoshoots will continue… but if you don’t own scrubs… fix it.

You are encouraging some dangerous precedents here. What if everyone started dressing like Ugly Betty? Or the castaways on Lost? Or the people in that quasi-Mormon sect Juniper Creek on Big Love? You need to think about the ramifications here…
