It will have such a huge impact on your life later on. I stopped smoking, partly because I saw how my girlfriend's father is suffering from his smoking habit. He had a heart attack 6 months ago because the nicotine broke off the cholesterol in his heart and caused a blockage*. Since then, he's hardly been allowed to move - if he runs for about 30 seconds he'll probably have another heart attack. All of that brought it very close to home for me. So well done for beating the addiction - its a big deal. *er, this may be a very sketchy laymans version of what happened medically! Congrats for reaching this milestone in your life. It will have such a huge impact on your life later on.

Everyone reading this... my Dad overcame these very same obstacles, after spending MUCH more time as a smoker than I did. He simply quit one day, without ever needed to leave his home or his family.
